The forest parks in Phrae are managed by Phrae Forest Industry Organization. There are a total of 14 forest parks:

1. Mae Yom West Forest Project, Ban Klang Subdistrict, Song District, Phrae Province:                                                                 project is Initiated in 2005, covering a total area of 400 rai.

2. Mae Pan Forest Project, Den Chai Subdistrict, Den Chai District, Phrae Province:                                                                          Project is Initiated in 1979, covering a total area of 755 rai.

3. Mae Yae-Mae Sang Forest Project, Sung Men District, Phrae Province:                                                                                        Initiated in 1989, covering a total area of 450 rai.

4. Den Chai Forest Park, Huai Rai Subdistrict, Den Chai District, Phrae Province:                                                                                Initiated in 1917, covering a total area of 4,825 rai.

5. Na Poon Forest Park, Na Poon Subdistrict, Wang Chin District, Phrae Province:                                                                            Initiated in 1984, covering a total area of 7,000 rai.

6. Mae Kon-Mae Sai Forest Park, Pa Daeng Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phrae Province:                                                            Initiated in 1969, covering a total area of 1,210 rai.

7. Mae Kampong-Mae Sai Forest Park, Phai Thone Subdistrict, Rong Kwang District, Phrae Province:                                    Initiated in 1980, covering a total area of 3,734 rai. The park is situated at an elevation of 373 meters above sea level.

8. Mae Kaem-Mae Song Forest Park, Tao Pun Subdistrict, Song District, Phrae Province:                                                            Initiated in 1990, covering a total area of 1,660 rai.

9. Mae Man Forest Park, Hua Fai Subdistrict, Sung Men District, Phrae Province:                                                                              Initiated in 1978, covering a total area of 17,571.60 rai.

10. Mae Sroi Forest Park, Mae Phung Subdistrict, Wang Chin District, Phrae Province:                                                                       Initiated in 1978, covering a total area of 7,106 rai. The terrain is characterized by rolling hills with elevations ranging           from 300-350 meters above sea level.

11. Mae Had Forest Park, Tao Pun Subdistrict, Song District, Phrae Province:                                                                                        Initiated in 1990, covering a total area of 7,435 rai.

12. Forestry School Forest Park, Ban Klang Subdistrict, Song District, Phrae Province:                                                                     Initiated in 2005, covering a total area of 1,000 rai.

13. Mae Yom-Mae Paeng Forest Park, Wang Chin Subdistrict, Wang Chin District, Phrae Province:                                           Initiated in 1984, covering a total area of 980 rai.

14. Wang Chin Forest Park, Na Poon Subdistrict, Wang Chin District, Phrae Province:                                                                       Initiated in 1978, covering a total area of 8,778 rai. The terrain is generally mountainous with interspersed streams,             and limited flatlands.

The project activities align with the eligible activities standard defined by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) in T-VER-S-METH-13-03. Proper management practices have been implemented, including creating wider firebreaks in steep areas, pruning to improve stem quality, thinning to reduce tree density, and patrolling to prevent and protect the forest from encroachment.

Remarks : No trees will be cut down within the project area for the entire 10-year duration of the project.
