Forest Parks in Sukhothai Province  under the jurisdiction of  Uttaradit Forest Industry Organization, there are 2 forest parks located in Sukhothai province:

1.   Mae San Forest Park, Had Siao Subdistrict, Si Satchanalai District, Sukhothai Province:                                                             Situated within Mae Tha Pae National Forest Reserve in Sukhothai ,this park covers a total area of 6,273 rai. The terrain       is characterized by steep hills and mountains.

2.   Si Satchanalai Forest Park, Mae Sum Subdistrict, Si Satchanalai District, Sukhothai Province:                                                Located within the Huai Suang National Forest Reserve, this park covers a total area of 15,646 rai and the terrain is              characterized by steep hills and mountains.

The project activities align with the eligible activities standard defined by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) in T-VER-S-METH-13-03. Proper management practices have been implemented, including creating wider firebreaks in steep areas, pruning to improve stem quality, thinning to reduce tree density, and patrolling to prevent and protect the forest from encroachment.

Remarks : No trees will be cut down within the project area for the entire 10-year duration of the project.
