The forest parks in Phayao province are under the jurisdiction of Lampang Forest Industry Organization. There are a total of 2 forest parks

1. Forest Park of Forest Management Unit ChR.21, Ban Tam Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phayao Province:                        This forest funded by the Royal Forest Department and handed over to the Forest Industry Organization (FIO) for                maintenance and utilization. It was officially transferred in 2005 and covers a total area of 126.76 rai. The main                    vegetation found in the forest plantation consists primarily of teak trees.



2. Forest Park of Forest Management Unit ChR.14, Ban Pin Subdistrict, Dok Kham Tai District, Phayao Province:              This forest park funded by the Royal Forest Department and handed over to the Forest Industry Organization (FIO) for        maintenance and utilization. It was officially transferred in 2005 and covers a total area of 379.31 rai. The primary              vegetation consists mainly of teak forests.

 

The project activities align with the eligible activities standard defined by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) in T-VER-S-METH-13-03.  Proper management practices have been implemented, including creating wider firebreaks in steep areas, pruning to improve stem quality and thinning to reduce tree density,  patrolling to prevent and protect the forest from encroachment.

Remarks : No trees will be cut down within the project area for the entire 10-year duration of the project.
